Your miner just learned to check real prices.
A smaller release than most, but one you will notice right away: your miner can go check real market prices on its own, every task it runs for you is now billed for what it actually used instead of a flat rate, SICI joined the menu, and a couple of rough edges got sanded down.
Your miner can check real prices now — no account needed
Ask your miner's assistant something like "what's this token worth" or "what's going on with this network today," and it used to be limited to what it already knew. Now it can actually go look.
Seventeen new ways to answer a question shipped in 0.4.40 — live prices and market data from CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, DexPaprika and Crypto.com, network information from Avalanche and LayerZero, cross-chain routing from LI.FI, plus ten more covering everyday questions about wallets, vaults, news and docs. There's also a small library of plain-language notes on how lending protocols like Euler actually work, in case you'd rather read than ask.
Every single one of them works with no sign-up, no account and no API key. You don't configure anything — it's just there.
Every task is now a real, shared job — and billed for what it actually used
Ask your miner to do something more involved in Public mode — chain a few tools together, run a lookup, carry out a multi-step task — and that work used to happen quietly on your own machine. There was no record of it on the network, and no payment either way.
Now every one of those tasks becomes a real job, shared with the network the same way a paid request always was. Billing changed to match: instead of always charging your full budget, you're now charged for what the work actually cost in AI tokens, and the rest is refunded automatically. A quick lookup costs little; a longer, multi-tool task costs more — and spend never runs past the budget you set, either.
You set the ceiling. The job tells you the real price once it's done — and refunds the gap.
SICI joins the menu, and the price you see is a real one
SICI now has its own spot in the top menu, next to DAI, Framework, Wallet and Explorer.
And the price shown on the Buy DAI page is no longer a placeholder — it's read live from the trading pool itself (currently on the test network while things get wired up) and links straight through to Uniswap when you're ready to buy.

Small, but you'll notice them within a day of running it.
One less field during setup
The desktop app used to ask for a separate Solana address during onboarding that nothing ever actually used. It's gone — setup is a step shorter, and nothing about your mining wallet changes.
Typing an amount feels right
On the Send screen, the number you type now shows up directly in the big display instead of in a separate box underneath it. One field, doing what it looks like it does.
One official home for everything
The install script, the docs links and the update checks all point to the same place now — github.com/iamaihub/dai-miner.
Every reply can get a star rating
Rating an AI reply with stars didn't always show up. Now it's there on every reply, in both the desktop app and the wallet — and it's not just for show: your ratings directly shape how future answers are weighted.
Clearer status while a task runs
Multi-step tasks now show what's actually happening instead of a blank wait, and suggested follow-up questions are capped to the three best instead of a long, unsorted list.
